Integrated logistics management

The management of logistics processes from an integrated perspective - no longer distinguished by sectors, supply chains or individual methods of handling trade flows – is divided into a multimodal structure and it now requires a strategic system management approach.

This must take place through a radical reorganization of the governance systems of logistics nodes (ports, dry ports, inland ports) and of the interaction of these ones with the corporate world:

• a. setting the trajectories of industrial research on critical elements that allow the activation of collaborative relationships;
• b. experimentally developing innovations, new organizational solutions and industrial prototypes;
• c. creating training courses aimed at developing skills and specialised profiles in these industries.
